Agency Workers Directive

In advance of the Agency Workers Regulations 2010 coming into force in
October2011, we are now beginning the process of holding discussions with
our clients to try and evaluate the impact on both the sector in general and on
our own customer relationships.

The outcome of a long consultation process is a legislative document which is
designed to give agency workers the right to the same basic working and
employment conditions as they would be entitled to for doing the same job had
they been recruited directly. As with much legislation, however, the detail of the
paper holds within it the key to how this may affect the relationships between
agencies and worker, and between agencies and their clients.

We at Hunterskill have been following the process through from consultation to
law, and our industry bodies have been proactive in seeking to establish a fair
and equitable outcome that balances the rights of workers with the benefits of
this market sector to the economy.

We continue to assess the way in which the legislation will change the methods
of operation, and to this end the input of our own clients is greatly valued.

If you wish to discuss the Workers Directive please do not hesitate to
