Job Purpose:

Manage, and report on all stock movement in and out of the warehouse and factory. To ensure that our clients inventory reporting is always accurate.

Principle Job Accountabilities

* To maintain stock accuracy, carrying out regular cycle counts
* To determine route cause of stock inaccuracy and work with production team to resolve
* To manage processes and procedures for stock transfers and production line material replenishment
* To identify potential efficiency improvements throughout the

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Sign for and process all goods-in material
* Manage and process all product despatches
* Liaise with Purchasing and Sales Controller to organise shipments
* Re-reel odd size reels to standard sales units
* Assemble samples prior to shipment
* Ensure that the stock control system is accurate by ensuring that all inventory movements are tracked and by weekly sample stock takes
* Ensure data entry into ERP system is prompt and accurate
* Keep the stock area organised and tidy at all times
* Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties, aid business development and organisation development

Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required

* Previous experience in a Production stock control environment [essential]
* Strong attention to detail [essential]
* Able to work in an independent manner
* Organised and methodical
* Fully proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) [essential]
* A good level of Maths and English is important essential
* SAP Knowledge [desirable]
* Knowledge of the Wire and Cable and signal industry [desirable]
* Punctual and smart in appearance
* Must be discrete and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
* Excellent communication skills that can clearly convey information
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Team-player, willing to respond professionally, enthusiastically and positively to all requests
* Self -motivated and positive attitude
* Takes responsibility for their own actions and accepts responsibility for outcomes (positive or negative)
* Common sense and the ability to use your initiative without regular prompting is important as ideally you will at some point become responsible for some of your own workload.
* Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
* You must hold a current drivers licence and have access to a vehicle due to office rural location

Working Week

Full Time: 37.5/40 hrs per week, [hours] Monday to Friday with 1hr lunch break (unpaid)
