Full Time Advertising Sales Executive

Following a very successful period of growth we are now looking for a new Advertising Sales Executive to join the team. Working on an established national fitness title.

We are looking for a business minded sales person, not afraid of cold calling to gain new business. The successful candidate must be able to think on their feet and adapt to different situations with the drop of a hat. No two calls are the same, you will need to show dexterity in your thought process that will allow you to achieve and beat the required targets set.

We operate a consultative sales approach, building rapport with your client base is key as is having an ability to establish working relationships with people who you may never meet face to face. Showing that it is not just about the sale. This is not a role where you will be assigned to a pod and made to be a number; you will be joining a fast growing, dedicated team, with direct training from the sales manager to ensure that you have all the tools you need to make a success of this opportunity.

The role would suit someone with a bright personality, a great communicator and someone with the ability to "close" the deal over the phone. Someone that is able to objection handle to enable them to get the results they want!!

You must be a dynamic self-starter and want to prove yourself in a fast paced sales role. The sky is the limit to how far you can progress within the company, we reward results, we train well and we provide our staff with everything they need to have an enjoyable career and a financially rewarding daily job.

Main responsibilities:

Cold calling and account management of set client list (new and existing)
Creating new leads
Working towards strict monthly and bi monthly deadlines
Dealing with media agencies, Marketing managers, business owners and PR companies
Working with the editorial team to create client led content
Selling advertising space in the magazine and on the digital edition of the publication
Sending written proposals to clients
Researching rival publications to source new leads
Working on the main CRM to clean the data and keep records up to date Maintaining a healthy pipeline with regular updates for a weekly sales meeting.

Core Skill requirements:
Previous telesales experience in a faced paced sales environment
Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills Excellent attention to detail
Desirable:
Previous advertising sales experience within a magazine
Experience in winning new business

The role is full time 9.30 - 530 Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch, with an initial probation period of 3 months.
Salary: 18000 per annum
