The suitable candidate will start on the 6th of June 2016 and will finish on the 31st March 2017.

To deliver quality investment and surveying services that respond to customer, organisational and financial needs to ensure regulatory compliance.

This job sits within the Asset department which is responsible for delivering high quality and cost effective strategies to manage the Group's property portfolio, advising on reinvestment programmes for stock and offices to ensure that the properties retain value and are maintained in accordance with Group requirements.
The job holder will ensure that they fully understand and fulfil their responsibilities in respect of both Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity at all times.
This profile is not an exhaustive list of duties and other activities may need to be carried out requiring similar skill levels.

Key Accountabilities (All Accountabilities will be carried out in line with policies, procedures and relevant regulations and legislation)

1. Undertake stock condition surveys and other property inspections including fire risk and health and safety assessments in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performance.

2. Manage works related to stock condition surveys and property inspections within agreed financial limits and in accordance with the organisations financial policies and procedures.

3. Produce reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders to assist in addressing and resolving issues to ensure the Group is compliant with relevant legislation.

4. Coordinate, communicate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately.

5. Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's objectives.

HNC in building and surveying or similar - Essential
