You will need to be a proactive sales person from an Engineering background. This role encompasses all aspects of the sales process, from "Hunting" for leads, and following lead through to close sales.

Main Purpose of Role:

Working as part of the Technical Site Service (TSS) Team, to develop and grow the after sales activities of the UK service business, actively selling service projects and maintenance contracts for equipment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Proactively develop and enhance the current aftersales service offered by the company through contractor, consultant and end-user based relationships

Proactively visit new and existing clients within region

Identify, develop and sell HVAC systems, energy saving projects and solution to clients.

Develop client relationships and identify future projects.

Complete site surveys for the purpose of quoting installation work etc.

Obtain costs from contractors and complete detailed quotes for client projects

Develop a pipeline of opportunities

Achieve sales target

Actively sell maintenance and aftersales services for the companies equipment to

existing and new customers.

Person Specification/Profile

Academic & Other Requirements:

Sound educational background required; HNC/HND/Relevant degree preferred.

Previous service/building services background would be desirable.

Strong persuasion, presentation and communication skills.

Self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative, capable of balancing a demanding

workload through effective prioritisation and completing work requirements quickly and

accurately.

Experience of project management, together with a demonstrable ability to successfully plan, organise, prioritise and implement multiple activities to a demanding timescale.

Capable of understanding and interpreting commercial issues, contract terms and conditions.

Experience in consultative sales essential.

Must be comfortable discussing commercial issues such as business plans, budgets, energy targets, pay-backs, cost-benefit analysis etc.

Must be willing to be a 'hunter' as well as being a 'farmer' and developing existing accounts/contacts.

Strong IT skills, with particular competence in the use of MS Office software.

Flexible approach and strong team working capabilities, prepared to support colleagues in the achievement of Company priorities and objectives.

Willingness and aptitude to continue personal development activities, developing

technical awareness and product/application knowledge.

Comfortable with forecasting sales figures and working towards a sales target.
Salary: 32000 per annum
