Senior HR Advisor

Job Description

1. Main purpose of the job role:

· To Support the HR Manager (Policy, Pay and Reward), with development and promotion of a range of strategic HR initiatives in pursuit of the Councils values and the workforce / OD Strategies.
· To champion Walsall Councils Workforce/OD Strategies across the organisation, whilst also helping to shape and design the continuing evolution of these strategies.
· Support the maintenance of an equality proofed pay structure, using NJC job evaluation and HAY grading schemes. Promoting to senior managers the importance of compliance and the risks of non-adherence.

You will be contracted to work 37 Hours per week.
